Timing is decent... not the best, not the worst. I also need to add more fuel to run more rich to aid in cooling. Rite now I'm around 12:1 at 7 psi. Need to bring that down to around 10.5. The water pump has a plate on the impellers. I could jack the rear of the hood up...but I would imagine...

Very good points!!!! I had this issue before I went turbo....however I do make more power now so the issue is the same or worse. I found a nice griffen radiator on their web site that I could probably make fit. I just don't want to ruin the factory grill look.....but I could get pretty crafty...

Mopar vs chevy / LS. Big tires Driving style lol. I'm pedal to the floor I'll swap out the radiators. And if issues still show, I'll look at pump pulley. I'd like to change the pulleys regardless due to the fact I don't need a 4 belt crank as I only use two belts. So maybe i'll get the 1:1...

I do plan on doing that. I do not run the built in tranny cooler on the rad. I do have a remote cooler for the trans with a fan... problem is...where do i put it!? If this was a car, this would be easy. But I go through mud/water/sand/dirt. I was at drummond island in October and I had my 42"...

I run a 47re. Also fuel injected. 4.56 gearing. There is a small trans cooler infront of the rad. I need to move that so I get 100% cool air flow across the rad. Now I do run the sand dunes in 4 low. Not sure if that matters...but again, I think I might be spinning the pump to fast.

Esentially a gutted t-stat. This will allow you to cycle the water even when the engine is off. Great for racing.

Anyone have a timing map for an LA with a single turbo runing 6psi on 93 pump? I have meth injection to keep the intake charge down and to add some fuel. Have a good timing map rite now, just wondering if anyone has one I can compare with and see if I'm way under advance.

Updates: So I tore the engine down.... Number 2 piston was completely trashed. Skirt was cracked and so was the entire pistone. Definitely from detonation like suggested above. Number 6, 7, 8 had cracks in the ring lands as well. The cylinder wall on number 2 is cracked in 2 spots...block is...
