67 SB Power steering pressure hose

Great thread! As an aside, I am looking for a good clean used or NOS 2537802 hose if anyone has one. I am looking into having reproductions made of several different original hoses and need good hoses for patterns, I'll gladly pay market prices. Thanks! Scott

I'm sorry to hear that David has stopped doing carb work, he's been a long time asset to the hobby for sure. As mentioned I only do complete stock restorations, I don't sell parts, unbuilt cores, or do partial repairs, but I can sometimes provide cores if needed to complete a job. Even...

    71 340 4 speed . Can i prove it to be 4 speed?

Without a Broadcast Sheet or a Fender tag there is no way to PROVE which transmission it came with from the factory. This only really becomes important after it's been restored and you are attempting to sell it, no proof = a value hit, and in the case of a 71 340 Duster, a BIG value hit...

    1971 340 Demon Trade?

Placing a value on any car is somewhat subjective to individual opinion. In my opinion the car should bring mid to high teens in todays market, maybe a bit more at a major auction. Of course my opinion could change (up or down) if I did a complete inspection of the car and made other discoveries...

    1971 340 Demon Trade?

FWIW I've seen Tom's car in person, it's a great car, not a national show winner but a VERY nice above average local show/driver quality car. IMO it's well worth what he's asking. No shame in owning this one for sure!

    superquad

Close, the Competition Series Thermoquads were made in 850 & 1000 cfm sizes, the early versions have press in jets, no stamped numbers on the mounting bosses, and used a tag (4846 = 850cfm, 4847 = 1000 cfm) to help identify them. The later versions had screw in jets, the number (4846SA = 850cfm...
