    [FOR SALE] 1971 Dart / Scamp - Tremec TKX - Street/Strip - $28k OBO

Hello FABO. I am selling the Mopar I have put my heart and soul into for the past 5 years. I love it... but enjoy the building more than the driving... and I have run my course with this car and done everything I wanted to do. Here are the highlights. 1971 Plymouth Scamp with a '70 Dart front...

    Gen3 hemi tkx swap

Oh wow, I did not have to cut that much for my TKX! I wonder if the hemi has any influence on where the trans sits, compared to my small block.

    compression or flow?

I appreciate you being open minded. If I was in your predicament, I would use the high flowing W2's, get a piston that'll give you good quench and around 11:1 compression, and run it on E85. ATM carburetors are fantastic, those guys understand alcohol fuels very well and build accordingly. I run...

    compression or flow?

Let me throw in a wild card here, out of curiosity... and it'll probably either open a can of worms or get completely ignored lol... @mopfried, is E85 available locally to you, and would you be driving this at least once a week?

    [FOR SALE] 1971 Dart / Scamp - Tremec TKX - Street/Strip

My personal best with the car is an 11.8 at 119... with a terrible 1.8 60 foot. That was with the 727 (entire auto setup goes with sale) and I can't recall which converter. I am NOT the "driver mod", as you can see. Much more experienced people have ridden in the car with me and said it feels...

    [FOR SALE] 1971 Dart / Scamp - Tremec TKX - Street/Strip

Hello FABO. I am selling the Mopar I have put my heart and soul into for the past 5 years. I love it... but I'm one of those weird people who enjoys building more than driving... and I have run my course with this car and done everything I wanted to do. Here are the highlights. 1971 Plymouth...

    Goodbye Torqstorm, hello Spoolius Ceasar

1.5 60', nice! What a big difference with the 2 step.

    318 stroker build

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I saw your mentions of the rocker stand issue on another thread, then someone linked this one. I'm very happy to hear that Mike won't even sell a geometry correction kit anymore unless you correct the stands first! Just a shame I had to be one of the guinea...

    Gen3 hemi tkx swap

I've only had a couple minor hiccups with SST, but their customer service is fantastic and problems were addressed immediately. I once got a reply from Jeff, their Vice President, on a Sunday at 7:25pm. With service like that, I don't even mind small issues.

    Tremec TKX first cuts

I would strongly advise against operating the car without the upper torsion bar brace. It is imperative to handle the torsion bar forces. Hooker part number BHS578 is by far the simplest, cheapest, and best solution I have come across (and currently use). I got everything from SST (except for...

Bingo. Nailed it! I love it that when the rodent replies to an elaborate, respectful, long post from Frosty with just "LOFingL" it's okay. But when I reply to his BS with the same exact thing, blasphemy!

Whoa. Is that the rodent "jumping in a thread and adding nothing", to quote himself? Doesn't that make him... a punk wanker?? Or was it a troll? :icon_fU:

All great points. I didn't wanna skew from the main topic of this thread (which is obviously to make fun of the rodent), but since you put effort into making good points, I feel like I can add to them. I do have a Holley/Quick Fuel 850 "race" Brawler on my '71 Swinger, and I like having it...

I commend you, Frosty. Extremely well-worded and eloquent. Which is why this is all going to fly right over Rat's head and he will resume with the mindless name-calling. My favorite part is his signature, "tuning isn't magic, it is a science that can be learned" - yet he refuses to accept that...

No no, I'm the troll. He's the guy who doesn't know how to tune carbs. Frosty is the wanker. Get your **** together, Rat.

@TT5.9mag , please don't take me seriously (not on this thread). I just couldn't help but to tease that guy... it's just so entertaining! I fully understand and agree with your point. I mess with both carbs and EFI, enjoy both, own both, and tune both.
