Funny I just found that info here on the forum. Thank you. Also, the pad info I posted is incorrect and really cleaning and looking at it closely it show. 1 10 H 2 Not sure yet what that means.

Kim, I've looked all over the Google machine to decode that number and have not come up with a site that explains what those numbers mean. Can you please send me a link if you have one. Thank you

Thank you. Why do you say 1972 when some have said pre 1969. I'm looking for number to verify year etc but have not found anything concrete. We paid $500; not sure deal or not. We've discussed putting it in my sons Dart but realize now that may be a bigger job (money wise) than we are ready for...

Picked up the motor, borescoped the cylinders, they were clean and free of any rust pulled the valve covers and this is what I found. Looked under the coil mount for numbers and there is a H440 stamp and a 1 10 2. I didn't see any other numbers. I put some light oil in all the cylinders and...

Bought this today (online auction) and pick it up tomorrow. Being new to this engine, where and what numbers should I be looking at/for to identify. I believe above the timing cover area? I've researched the intake. Once in my possession, I'll update information. I bought it without seeing it so...

Thank you. We got rid of the left hand threads. We stole everything from the donor 73 Dart ,disc brakes, suspension, K member, engine, transmission and rear. He has AAA and is a very good mechanic for 23, can figure things out.

Funny, we have a family home in Stone Harbor so Bayville is North Jersey to us. He has a HEI with a GM module set up, which has been bullet proof so far. Thanks for the input and I agree taking their time and enjoying the trip is the best way to do it. I think they will be doing the camping...

So my son (23) is a mechanic who currently works at Toyota and is quitting to go to school and become an aircraft mechanic (like his old man). He is going to take a few weeks off and between leaving Toyota and starting college. My father owns a home in North NJ ( Bayville). My son was going to...

    74 Duster vs 70 Dart?

I'd say build the one that will bring you the most joy doing. If you feel and from your post I think your leaning towards the Dart that you'll have more fun and enjoy wrenching on it then I would go that route. If it is truly is a toss up and you don't care about the resale value, how much time...

    Items bought from FABO guys

I think a reasonable time to ship a smaller item is 2-3 days after the agreement is made. Larger items up to a week but I really think communication between buyer and seller is key. Life comes at us fast and **** happens but when the other half of the transaction does not know about...
