    Power steering pump replacement questions

Thanks again cudamark. Using some kano kroil and then a proper puller it broke free and came right off. Easy. It barely taxed the puller. I'm going to do an oil change before starting it up because of the bolt that leaked the coolant. I'm guessing some drained in the engine around the timing...

    Power steering pump replacement questions

Thanks cudamark. That explains a lot. I'll drain the coolant and then remove the pump; will use thread sealer when I reinstall. My pulley is pressed on and has a nut. I got the nut off after some wrangling. There looks to be enough flange material to take off the pulley with a proper removal...

    Power steering pump replacement questions

My power steering went out on my '74 Duster 360. I ordered a replacement from O'Reilly and it looks right. I have a few questions I hope you can help me with: 1. The power steering bracket is mounted using the water pump bolts. When I went to pull out the bolt so that I could take the power...

Did the Duster have exhaust tips?

I'll give that a shot! I like the idea because I can use the flex adapter I have for my dremel and get into the tight spot. Thanks Yote

It looks like Yote's setup has a rectangular cutout where you could get a washer...

Did the Duster have exhaust tips?

I did a search first for Duster Exhaust Tips and found no hits. The exhaust on my Duster 360 ends just about at the rear leaf spring bracket. That seems odd to me. I had always thought Dusters had similar exhaust tips as other Mopars from the period, but I don't see any way to mount...

    Howdy

I'm glad I found you people! I've had various mopars in my life. The first one was a 70 Duster, 318 3-speed. I had it from 1980 - 1983, lived in Northwest NJ at the time. I loved that car until a drunk driver totaled it. I got a 72 Satellite after that. I liked that one too. I've had a few other...
