how can you determine the exact year on a 360 engine? the casting # 3418496 is for 71 thru 74 360. but each year is a different compression, hp etc. 71 is 8.7/1 72 is 8.8/1 73 and 74 are 8.4/1 is there any way to determine which year it is?

axles inserted fully into housing, shouldn't this spacing be close to .500? also did not have backing plates in place so add another .250 sure grip w/741 casting measured axle from inside flange, thought this was supposed to be a little over 28"?

Changing the oil in my girlfriends car, she bought the new valvoline easy pour jug. It has a pull tab to break the seal and when I popped it it sprayed a bunch of oil droplets in my face and eyes!! some-beach! %$#*

so i'm trying to negotiate a deal on this barracuda I found very rough but complete. If I can manage to snag it I will want to sell the grilles. they are in great shape!
