    well i got the carter pump and it fits good!!! the carter catalog said that one of the dadge pumps will not work with a double roller change but this one looks good! i know what you guys are sayin!

    the engine was built to have about 10.5 to 1 and its a man. trans with 2.92 gears. the cam should kick in at 2500 or so

    ok i was thinking of running a mech. fuel pump but it is very tight around the water pump and i dont know if the mechanical will give me enough fuel. how big a job would it be to change over to a electric full pump?

    i think i will put the rockers and rods on and turn the engine over by hand and mark next to the holes where the grinding needs to be done!

    ok so grind the intake side of the hole and the top of the hole. just where ever the rods hit!

    i have a die grinder and bit but i thought it would just be easier to drill the whole hole out with a large drill bit.

    ok i have a 60 over 360 with eddy heads solid cam and 10.5 to 1 compression. what would be a good intake for me? i will be doing 95% street driving. i have a eddy performer rpm intake but i hear that is not much good! what should i get? i dont want to spend 400 bucks but i want something good!

    well i have already bought the rods but i guess i could sell them and get new ones. all i would need is the rods to be the same length as the 3/8 ones i have and i would be ok. so 5/16 with .083 should do me then! and that means i wouldnt need to take as much off the heads to make them fit...

    the guy who is helping me build the engine said the 3/8 rods should be used. the eddy heads have stock springs. why can i just get a drill bit bigger than the holes there now and drill the holes out bigger rather than use a die grinder?

    Sorry about the typo on the rod size! ya i kinda thought it might come to this! oh well! the rods seem to be hitting on the side of the hole on some and on the top of the hole on others. i was thinking of getting a drill bit a little bigger than the stock eddy holes and just drill them out...
