So what's this '71 Demon worth?

Barbee, I agree, a lot of this is going to depend on what the car actually looks like inside and out. IF, I repeat IF, really the only thing I will need to do with this car is paint it, and I can get it for the right price, then I'm going to jump on it. Someone asked earlier about what I could...

So what's this '71 Demon worth?

Thanks for all the replies.. Joe, I agree the pictures are just about worthless...FWIW they were sent to me, I did not take them, I just wanted to give you guys something to look at. To clarify, I'm not yet looked at the car, I just wanted you guys to make the assumptions on condition in order...

So what's this '71 Demon worth?

Thanks guys, a few pics, unfortunately not good lighting. What I'm getting here is that $15,000 is at least a few thousand too much. I thought about offering $13,000, but now I'm thinking less (assuming the condition is as I mentioned above)

So what's this '71 Demon worth?

Wow, great looking Dart! That would be a Swinger correct? Was it a Dart Swinger in 1972 or was that in '73 when the Demon became the Dart Sport? In any event, I'm not sure how prices compare vs. Darts and Demons, etc. $6000 seems like a heckuva deal for that though.

So what's this '71 Demon worth?

As I noted in my other thread, I'm looking at a '71 Dodge Demon to add to my Mopar Garage. I'm much more knowledgeable on the E Body cars than the A Bodies, so I'm hoping you guys can help me out. So, as mentioned in my other thread, this an original 6-cylinder car that's been turned into a...

Looking for advice on a '71 Demon

Thanks for all the replies guys, all kinds of excellent advice in here. To an early question, it sounds like the rear end has been replaced. It has the 8 3/4 read end with a 3.91 Sure Grip. Where are the "trouble spots" body-wise I should look for? I'm going to call the guy over the weekend...

Looking for advice on a '71 Demon

So I've been looking for an A Body for several months now, to pair with my '74 Rallye Challenger and add to my Mopar Collection. I've come across a '71 Demon that looks to be in very good shape, most importantly the body seems to be in good shape, which will go along way towards putting fresh...

    Question for the A-Body guys

Yep, that's what I thought. I'm not accusing the owner of anything nefarious, it might be he just doesn't know what he has, although I don't understand how, as he is claiming the engine was rebuilt. Thanks guys, I will more than likely be a regular visitor here, as I begin my quest for an...

    Question for the A-Body guys

Yes, the 360 is an L code. Thanks for the information on the 318 code, I asked the owner for a pic of the fender tag and VIN.

    Question for the A-Body guys

Yeah, I considered that, it was just a bit hard for me to believe somone wouldn't know they have a factory 340, when it's a very desirable small block to have in a Mopar. I thought it was more likely that it was a 318 originally that was pulled for the 360, or maybe even an original 340 that...

    Question for the A-Body guys

Greetings from another Mopar Guy. I'm looking at possibly purchasing an A-Body Mopar...either a Dart, Demon, or Duster, early 70's. Right now I'm looking at a 1973 Dodge Dart Sport. The ad claims the car comes with the "original 360". I was under the impression that Dodge didn't start...
