Yeah. It turned out to be quite a turd. Floors and frame rails were all toast and there’s almost 3/8” bondo in places.

Just a mild cam I think and some headers. He can play with it more when he gets older!!!!

been plugging away during this crazy COVID. The boy has been doing great picking up on skills as we go!! Getting ready to replace both quarter panels and finish up couple more rust repairs and maybe get it painted and sitting on the floor!!!

Found this on eBay. It’s way easier to use that the one in the mopar manual. We’ve got the new front clip mocked up and almost all the measurements check out....except the one circled in red. It’s 1/4” short. We put the hood and fenders back on and everything seems to fit really good...bit...

Yeah. The cowl is mint!!! Gonna swap that out once the firewall and frame is secured.

Went shopping for a front left frame rail and inner fenders (just needed the top flanges) and came home with this deal. Left frame rails seem to be impossible to find....this new front clip has a small hole in the left frame rail but it’s in a spot we can graft a chunk from one of our rights...

Came with a 360 and a 727 trans and 7 1/4 rear end. Probably going to stick with 360 and trans and get them rebuilt. Not sure yet.

We we going to repair them but found out our drivers side frame rail is pretty rotten so we may replace fenders too. Would like to find a good complete front clip but we shall see. May be tough finding parts for the next little while.

Thought we would have a bit of fun yesterday and put seats in and go for a cruise......

Got alittle more done yesterday. Our amd order finally came in so it’s full steam ahead! Lots of fitting and removing and fitting again!,,

Got into repairing one inner rocker....the boy did a pretty good job I think! Decided to rent sanblaster and clean up some of the rusty spots. Didn’t want to do any of the body panels. Should make the panel and frame replacements easier. Also found a few more rusty spots to fix. Still...

Let me know what you want for them. I have a neighbour who’s looking in his big stash and if he doesn’t have any....

Car was very straight to start with....doors and truck still open and close good. Gonna cross brace interior before we go to much further.
