    Comp cam springs and break-in

No hostility here partner. You should look into being more like 4spdragtop ,friendly and to the point. There was some confusion on my part and was looking for friendly clarity. Harder for some than others I guess. It’s not the definition that was the problem. It was that I didn’t know if the...

    Comp cam springs and break-in

Yep, that is. How hard was that? You don’t have to get bent. I thought the community wanted to help people here. If you have little one liners, whats the point of waisting your time. It’s like driving and hour to the gym to lift a barbell once and then going home. I was just looking for some...

    Comp cam springs and break-in

That’s what I said in my post. What I was looking for was an answer to basically, do people remove the damper inside for break in? That’s fine if you don’t know the answer. There was only vague information online and went down too many rabbit holes, hence looking for someone who knew here not an...

    Comp cam springs and break-in

So I been building a small block 360, and when I went through my heads I pulled the valves and lapped them. Decided to do a little bowl blending and port matching. I realized that some of my springs were different heights and I had a set of comp cams 901-16 springs laying around, so I thought...

    Brake or Clutch spring?

Exactly what I was stating but I called it a rubber band gasket, meant grommet so ya that should be what holds it in and I’ll be in business. Thanks!

    Brake or Clutch spring?

It’s rather loose right now cause it needs tightened down and also the little rubber band gasket thing that goes around the end. The pedal lifts higher than Id expect but gets stopped by the brake switch. Sloppy right now until I get a new rubber. I was just concerned before I put it together...

    Brake or Clutch spring?

I’ll have to look, but I was concerned about it falling out if I hit a hard bump. The pedal already seems rather high and isn’t making contact completely with the brake light switch. So it’ll need some tinkering.

    Brake or Clutch spring?

Okay, good enough. Thanks for the response. Must’ve gotten tossed in the wrong box. Do you know if the rod gets ‘clicked in’ the master cylinder with the rubber around the rod? I’m just wondering cause you can lift up on the pedal right now (not seated), and seems as if the rod could fall out...

    Brake or Clutch spring?

I’ve been working on my car on and off for the last few years. Finally getting to some of the brakes. Unfortunately when I originally got this car it was a basket case and literally the car was filled to the headliner and top of trunk with baskets. Without going too far in depth on a back story...
