1969 dodge dart with headers not sure what exactly I need to connect my steering rod to the power steering pump and miss the headers? U joint maybe?

Installed 8.8 in a 69 dodge dart and the shock plates don't line up,any suggestions would be appreciated.

I was leaning towards the ford ranger rearend but after some more research it looks like the explorer with disc brakes are the better choice for the 69 dart does anyone have any insight? I was given some great advice for the ranger, thanks.
