    Im getting ready to balance my rotating assembly, its a stock Magnum 360 crank with stock rods and KB 107 .030” pistons. I am using a nuetral balance B&M flex plate, and a 727 TF nuetral balance torque converter. Any suggestions on a good crank balancer? Street/strip use.

    Yes, I have a cylinder that has rust in it from sitting to long opened up. I cleaned up that bore a bit with a ball hone and it has blemishes.

    Thats cool, thought about that after I posted it and laughed myself. Didnt know if it would make a different because of a neutral balance flexplate with the old school 727. Doin a little mixing here and from previius exoeriences found it could be disasterous without asking questions first...

    I was thinking the same thing as I was writing this thread. I don’t see any reason why I can’t use 2 gaskets. . And I am running roller rockers so the clearance would be good. Just needed that push over the edge on the decision, thanks!

    Anybody that are using the Magnum EQ heads, what valve covers are you using. I have a set of M/T covers for an LA, the bolt pattern will work. However, the sealing surface on the EQ heads are so thick, the valve covers wont clear the edges. Any ideas? I could mill the covers, but, rather not do...
