Yeah, I’m a little worried about ‘em frankly. Might have to machine the mounting surfaces down. Bill gave me the dimensions but they look super tight. Can’t tell for sure until I get weight on the car and let them tow in.

3m two sided foam tape. I have no plans to drive in bad weather. You could use a 3M seam sealant PN 08370 if you want something more reliable. I have two tubes of this body sealer (leftovers). Stuff ain’t cheap. Can sell for 1/2 price plus shipping.

Thanks. They have a GM version but not sure if it’s the same. I guess I’ll order this and find out.

Ooof…. Maybe I should have been more specific. Heat & pull until the stud softens up enough to pull through. Not hold it there till there is a big molten hole. You want the hole small enough to melt back into place on the new part.

Melt studs with soldering iron. Clean, move to new. Melt in place on new. Take your time.

Thank you! The grill and bezels are repop. I blacked them out to resemble GTS pieces as they come in standard form. I do still have the originals to play with but one headlight bezel is bashed up a bit from the fender hit. The centerpiece/beak is real OEM. I bought/restored it myself. No...

You either need to dump before the rear end (my plan) or run it directly under the frame rails. Also, the Street Lynx kit supposedly does t work with a Dana.

Latching vs Pull Handle Glove Box Door?

Yes, thanks. I have all of that hardware (minus a missing bumper if anyone has one, or a source). I fully understand its construction. I'm just curious as to why it was updated in 68? Thought it might not be as secure as a latching-style door and what interchanges. Typically engineers...

Latching vs Pull Handle Glove Box Door?

Interesting…. Didn’t know the box was unique. Yeah, I know it won’t open on its own, and I have the mechanism, just wondering if it would vibrate without some positive locking mechanism. I also know the bumper is there to dampen any audible vibration, but that doesn’t necessary say anything...

Latching vs Pull Handle Glove Box Door?

I have a '67 Barracuda glove box door that has no push button latch like my '68. It just has the pull handle. How well do these things 67 versions stay shut without the latch? Should I assume they may have upgraded the engineering in '68 for a reason? Anyway, I'm thinking of converting it...

So I wasn’t satisfied with my factory style dash so here is my next big goal and some pics from my source of inspiration. I’ll be using this 67 Barracuda dash frame/core because I think it serves as a better starting point. The universal gauge insert is from Intellitronics out of Euclid...
