Looking for drums for an 8.25

I’ve got a 72 swinger with the 7.25 running 1 inch spacers to fit big bolt in the rear (wilwoods up front) been dealing with clunking when braking hard, originally thought it was the u joint but after replacing I’m stilling getting a clunk, slop in the drivers rear axle

Is there a part number for the bilsteins? I can’t find them on their website

Switched out this carb for a different one , still dealing with high idle (2500+) got it started and running but once it’s in gear it dies

Update: I can get the car running, (after a long while) it wants to idle at 2500 rpm and the idle screw doesn’t back off any more

Installing a Holley 390 double pumper on my slant 6 but not seeing any ports on the carburetor, thoughts?

I just got a 4bbl intake and carb for my slant 6 upgrading from the stock 1920, wanting to do lokar kickdown but not sure which bracket I need for throttle cable and kickdown linkage, there seems to be so many

It’s not going to be stock forever, hopefully in the next year, that’s why I opted for this instead of a 2 bbl

The intake is an offenhauser 6=8 4 bbl Running on stock slant 6

I’m buying a 4 bbl intake for my slant 6, I’ve heard 390 cfm is the sweet spot for those, will this carb match up?

Well I just started Drivin her again, been about a year, today I got my carburetor rebuild kit for the Holley 1920 and ended up breaking the float so it looks like I don’t get to drive it anymore, got a painless harness and auto meter gauges showing up Friday

Looking for a 2bbl intake for my 72 swinger, or a Carter bbs for the 1 barrel intake

So I don’t have very many cheap options do I

Hey y’all! I’m Steve a 24 year old been driving a 72 dart since I was 16, just now making enough to finally start doing projects! I’m only learning as I go and I have many questions already and more down the road, glad to know I’m in a place of knowledge!

Update, I totally broke the float, so now I have to get a new carburetor as they don’t make the floats, I found this one on mikes carburetor parts, it says it will replace the 1920, so now I’m wondering what that fork like bracket is, kickdown? Will I need to update my linkage?

It’s nitrofil, squeezed it and no prints, seems dry, this is how it’s sitting, this is my first carb rebuild

I took out the float and weighed it, sitting at 8.9g, don’t know if that’s good or not

I have a 72 dart with a 225 and Holley 1920 carb, I just rebuild the carb and when I try to start it gas is overflowing the carburetor like crazy, looking for a fix, thanks
