The gap at the top of the piston is usually wider to accomodate for piston expansion due to heat. Usually you take a measurement on the skirt just below the oil ring (for piston to wall clearance).

A super charger will push the fual back the line to the tank. Use Mad Darts' advice for pump and regulator selection. You can run on one and boost refence the other(s) to toggle on when boost starts. The non-running pumps will act as a deadhead and not allow fuel to pass by them.

Run the 3" as far as you can. In my testing, switching from a 2.5" downpipe (whole exhaust) and substituting in an 18" length of 3" down pipe and mergingit to 2.5"...that was good for 10RWHP. No back pressure after the turbo is ideal. It helps spool up (faster). I run 3.5" to the axel and a 3"...

The wastegate is built into this unit...just like a stock Buick unit....To have enough room for exhaust and wastegate, it is oblong. If you look close you can see the flapper for the wastegate.

With the turbos that low, what are you going to do with oil returns?

Keep a good tune and maybe some meth injection and you should be able to run 10-15psi all day long. Detonation will kill you everytime. If you have the heads off you might want to look into better head gaskets and studs since small blocks have only 4 bolts per hole.

I had some USA made FI line fail in less than a year on my 85 fi turbo Chrysler. It split in 6 places. Can't trust anything these days.

That was my version 1 except I had a holly 4 bbl. Ryan went 11s with only the primarys opening...My version 1 went into the 12's......first pass ever it went 13.21.

They measured 1.39 if you want to be more exact.

Use a stock 87 Buick turbo. Cheap and reliable.
