Why are the X heads so wanted then? No one talks about the 2.02 J heads.

I'm going to get the block and heads cleaned and Magnafluxed. I figured I need to know where I'm at. I had the heads Maged a few years back, but dont have the documents to prove. This time I will get the clean bill of health after the Mag.

X head has the factory 2.02 intake, 1.60 exhaust valves. J heads are usually 1.88 intake and 1.60. My motor must have had the J heads worked to 2.02 or it was originally 2.02? The X and the J where on this running 340. Some say that the J head did come in 71 with 2.02 and 1.60, but books...

So you think there would be value added getting the block and heads magnafluxed?

Looking for a 66 or 67 Chrysler station wagon. Would like to have the 3rd seat in the back and in restorable condition. Needs to be running and drivable. Big block would be perferred. Located in MN, Dont want to go to far to pick up. Locking mostly for car in the Midwest.

This is a complete rebuild, The car is stripped - just a shell right now. May be drop spindles would best for the front.

I have a 1967 DART GT that has been sitting in storage for 10 years and no I would like to start working on it. It is a 273 car. I plan on sticking a big block in the car and would like to lower the whole car by 2-3 inches. Are there any kits available or does anyone have any helpful ideas...
