Wow! Don't think I would go that route! What if when you are screwing in the new Bolts and you puncture the Gasket or hit the edge of the Windshield?? I will stick with the correct/factory way of doing it and save this other method for parts cars. Later, Bruce B.

Putting woodgrain dash pieces in my Duster

That can turn into a can of worms on several levels... I think the best way to do this is to buy the entire Dash from the parts car. Otherwise you will be drilling numerous holes in your original Dash! IF the drilling does not bother you........ After removing the doner parts (Take the...

'70 340 Swinger; Woodgrain or not???

Yours is the 1st 1970 Swinger 340 I have seen (Including the 3 that I have owned) WITHOUT the woodgrain Cluster Trim! It was a bit more than just a Sticker Burntorange70! It is actually printed on a thin metal overlay that was attached to the Cluster. I would presume that somebody replaced...

    4 Door bench in a 2 door

A Full Bench (Single Piece Back) cannot be converted. The Split Benches can. As was said above.... You need to find a Latch Assembly to bolt onto the Backs after you remove the Lock Bars. Not having the Latchs can kill you in an accident! Later, Bruce B.

    Bench Seat Angle

No pics handy but..... There are 2 on each side of your car. They might be up in a kinda Bracket but you should be able to see them by looking under the car. You will see a Threaded Stud with a Bolt/Washer snugged up to the Floor. Hope this helped! Later, Bruce B.
