I'm trying to set the drive gear/pinion backlash and I'm at .015. The shim on the ring gear side is .265. Does anyone have a thicker shim? a .270, .275, or .010, .007? I'd rather work with the thicker shims to minimize wrecking the thinner ones. Thanks.

Ok, I have a Black Set from a 66 Barracuda. They are dirty but can be cleaned and polished. The drivers side has a small chip where the lower screw holds it in but would not be seen as the screw would hide it. The passenger side has a crack almost all the way across the bottom and around...

I'm looking for a 8.25 complete rear axle to put in my 66 'Cuda. Would like something with 3:55 SG gears but will consider what you have. Any gear would be better than the stock /6 7.25 I'm running right now. I'm in eastern Connecticut and will travel a bit to pick one up. Thanks FABO!

I could transfer the shaft into another housing but would have to make a cover plate for the hole left by the vac advance. The LB dist has no hole and looks better.

Thanks for all the responses, I have a purchase pending right now. This is going with my TBI Injection w/computer controlled ignition. The lean Burn Dist has no advance at all, mech or vac. the advance is controlled by the computer programming which I change as needed and re flash the chip...

The lean burn dist won't have a vac advance unit and some only have one pickup. I'm not concerned about how many pickups it has, only the lack of vac advance. The lean burn has no mechanical advance also. If you have one what do you want for it?

I'm looking for the nuts that hold my scoop inserts to my hood. Its a 72 'Cuda Rally Hood on my 66 'Cuda. The inserts are either aluminum or pot metal, not fiberglass so I'm not sure regular hood scoop nuts will work. Anyone? See the whole thread here...
