I was so frickin excited when I got to hear the 440 run and drive it around I never looked at the tailshaft! Already made the deal, the motor and trans will be out in a week so I'll find out then. Worst case scenario being?

When trying to fit this 77 440/727HD into my Swinger, as far as the 727HD is concerned, what issues will I run into, I already need to have driveshaft made due to Dana 60 so what else should I request ,this is my first swap so I figure if you are already there mine as well go for it!

I have been looking around for an 8 3/4 for my 73 swinger for my big block swap for a while I gave up and started to switch gears got a call today from a local rear end guy and he has a 35 spline dana 60 w 3.73 gears 43" between the perches already for 800.00 delivered to my door! sure...
