1977 440&Trans out of MH into 73?

When trying to fit this 77 440/727HD into my Swinger, as far as the 727HD is concerned, what issues will I run into, I already need to have driveshaft made due to Dana 60 so what else should I request ,this is my first swap so I figure if you are already there mine as well go for it!

Is it a short shaft trany? If it has a yoke on the tailshaft a u joint bolts to it is. You will either have to change the tailshaft and rear houseing to a long one or you might be able to put a slip yoke in the driveshaft.

I was so frickin excited when I got to hear the 440 run and drive it around I never looked at the tailshaft! Already made the deal, the motor and trans will be out in a week so I'll find out then. Worst case scenario being?
