he is doing the body and paint for 3000 cash. This includes trunk, engine bay, jams. Said i'll have it back in 2-3 weeks. A metal shop his brother owns in our little town is making replacement panels. Time will tell! I am supplying all trim, window gaskets, handles, mirrors, lenses etc....

all that i can decipher is 118 r, the one is probably a 3, we simply cannot read it. It looks like it was stamped double on accident. I have tried bringing the numbers to the surface with a pencil rub, chalk, and rubbing it with a stamp pad and preesing paper to it. Are there markings anywhere...

i think that i will follow everyones advice and do body last. Being new to this tends to lead to spills and dings. I will get everything fitted and working, then tear it apart and paint.
