360-2.02 valves Fit a 318 block with no clearance issues?

You could use the heads and add compression with new pistons, since your rebuilding the bottom end. Then you'll have a pretty stout 318, that's what I would do.

    Comp, Lunati, Mopar?

I wouldn't count out MP purple shaft cams either if you run into what your looking for. I am running the MP hemi grind in my rebuilt 440 with a single plane and 750 vac sec and I love it. Has the sound and power I want for a street car. If you don't match your parts to the cam or tune right...

    Stock 1972 Dart 318 timing

That is just initial timing to get you close. You need to install a timing tape on your balancer so that you can see the total mechanical plus initial timing up to 40 degrees. Cam choice

Here looks like a great street/strip cam and great deal, I ordered one for my 318. http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=180237 I would go with the 302's and get the larger valves installed. Then you have some good heads, compression and with a good cam youll be making some decent...

    *Realistic expectations..C-mon jump in!

I would use a hydraulic on anything but super high end big bucks motor. Those cams and lifters are big bucks. Lots of guys raving about the voodoo has lift of around .488 and .514 and sounds really mean. Then you'll have some money for 3.55 gears and a nice converter. I would also use headers...

    what cam for this engine?

I'm the king of low budget (4 kids), just found this cam at summit. I'm ordering it for my wifes 318 dart. You have the gears, so why go with a stock 340 type cam. You can also go to the comp cams website and input all your engine specs and look at the output of various cam profiles. A similar...

Hot Start: Cam timing for 318 with XE256H too much?

Also check that battery looks a little old, but hard to tell in the pic. I bought the biggest battery NAPA had for my coronet. Nothin worse than poor cranking when engine's hot .
