Mine came like that too, though not as bad. Check your lifters as a few of mine are going to need a good cleaning. My dad looked at it and said it should clean up with some wd-40 and a rag and if that doesn't get it a piece of super fine crocus cloth should.

I dont know what motor you have but i have that purple cam in my 340 and it is a dog down low and not a lot better up top I plan on replacing it the next time the motor is out of the car. I see your from West MI ever take your car to Martin?
