    Tight Tuck / Shorty Headers

    There are several threads on the forum that show those headers dumping right on the k member for the most part. I believe most of the builds was doing a very quick 90 degree elbow in the exhaust tubing to not hit the k member or hang low like cheap headers.

    Crosswind Intake manifold question again!!

    Hughes sells magnum heads drilled for an la intake. The heads on those 5.9s are probably cracked anyways. They only run like 800 a set. It will fix the cracked head problem and the intake problem by being able to run a la style intake. Two birds with one stone

    That's a truck oil pan. You need an oil pan for a car in la360. It will fit the magnum

    318 Senior Project Build

    I don't think you're gonna be able to zero deck your block with those stock replacement pistons. With those pistons you won't gain much compression even milling those magnum heads. With that said a comp 268 cam might be a little better performance wise because I think that 280 will be too much...

    The markings on the bottom of that cam looks like it says crower on it. a quick search on their website turns nothing up though.

    Magnum Retrofit

    you'll need an la center sump pan. i believe it's the 360 center sump that fits all magnums but not 100% positive. someone else please chime in and confirm this.

    Howdy...

    A 318 is internally balanced and a 360 sadly is not. Therefore your converters will not interchange.

    Why are 318's low HP and torque?

    If you really want 302 heads, go to rock auto.com tell them you have like an 89 or so 5th Ave. W/ a 318. I just looked them up they're 424 and some change a piece. Sell your j heads and buy these heads they'll be ready to run.
