I am using the comp xe275hl cam in my 340/416 stroker and just love this cam.fantastic torque and midrange power.i don't spin it past 6000 rpm's because it is a stroker,and is a street car,it would work great also in a 340 street car up to 6000 rpm's.

That cam would be good to 6000 rpm's.I run a 4150 HP 750 big's prepped carb with my 416/340 stroker,it run's great.

They would be at least 72cc. I have a pair on my 85 d150 pickup truck.It has a 318 in it,i had the machine shop cut them down 40 thou on the bottom and 25 thou on the intake side and used the M.P thin head gasket.Every thing went together perfect.Work's great.

I'll pull the plug's,pull the carb birchwood spacer and check it with a straight edge,and recheck the firing order.It sounds like all the lifter preload is fine as the is no valve train noise.

with the proform mainbody,will it give me more cfm's.
