Thank-you every body for the warm welcome for being a new member of FABO,that was nice. Sorry for the non showing of the pictures, as i had the wrong resollution in size.I hope i have it right this time.As stated the first time the truck has a 318 with 596 360 heads milled 40 thou. with some bowl porting.a comp cams 256h10 cam,an edelbrock 600 cfm carb,an ld340 intake,hedman headers into a custom single exhaust,with a mallory ignition.It has a 727 trans with a 8.25 rear end with a 3.21 gear.It has great mid range and top end with this rear gear and being a 6000 pound truck,with the right combonation of parts the teens can make good power.
The 340 in the cuda has just been stroked to 416 c.i.It has 894x heads with s/s valves,ported and flows 240cfm at 500.A scat cast crank with 745 forged pistons,and scat i beams in a balanced kit,a comp 275/287 525/525 hl series cam,isky lifters,a port matched m1 single plane intake,a 3310 750 holley/proform main body carb,moroso pan with milodon tray,and tti headers.
The block is align honed with arp main studs and was built by Howard racing engines in town.Do you guy think i went to small on the cam?And how much power do you guys think this orange monster will make. It will be mostly street driven Thanks. HandyAndy.
