Tricks for keeping glass from fogging up racing on cold nights?

This, though I recommend the spray bottle. (Faster to apply between rounds.)

    Oil Filter Adapter

FWIW, I recall 4.0 Jeeps from the 90s used a 90 degree adapter. Probably <$20 at a junkyard.

Sandin A/C and compact P/S pump brackets

I might be interested in the AC only mount. Can it be used with a Powermaster alternator and stock pulleys? FWIW ,the alternator and WP are currently driven from the FORWARD groove on my 2-groove crank pulley.

How can i make 700 horse from a 410 stroker

No, you didn't understand the question. How is a blower truck any more dangerous in that situation than a truck with a pair of Dominators on a tunnel ram, feeding a 600+ci engine? And more to the point...why don't they use cutoffs, again? I remember those on pro mud racers in the early 90s!

How can i make 700 horse from a 410 stroker

THAT IS BLOODY BRILLIANT! To the OP: what fuel do you run? Because I expect the power might be easier if you can run alcohol.

How can i make 700 horse from a 410 stroker

700hp from a SB will be brutally expensive-and to last, I would expect no factory parts in what might be essentially a NASCAR engine-R block, W9 heads, etc. I fail to see how boost matters...a stuck throttle on a NA giant big-block (I have seen mud racers with 600ci) would do the same thing.

I couldn’t even start to imagine

I'm not sure, but I am sure it will be much easier-it's less corrosive than methanol, and you can even get dedicated E85 carbs now. IIRC, it's ~110 octane.

I couldn’t even start to imagine

50 heads on the flow bench for the best ports and smallest chambers, 200 rods for the 8 lightest, maybe flow testing a dozen intakes. Ebay? Can you run it on E85?

I couldn’t even start to imagine

Or alky. Actually...I wonder if it would run on E85. That looks almost like a Pro Stock Truck mill.

    Only 460hp

I question whether this might be the cork in the system. good as they are, those are a little small for 414ci.

Safe max RPM for bone stock 5.9 magnum

FWIW, a LOT of the 3rd-party-sold "MSD" stuff out there is bogus. Yes, the Chinese are making counterfeit MSD stuff. :BangHead::BangHead: If you have clearance and are willing to deal with a slightly crude-looking solution, it's easy: loop the hose. Instead of the short, direct bend, have it...

But I bet it will pull like a steam engine from 2000rpm.

Safe max RPM for bone stock 5.9 magnum

400+ on a truck long block with cam and headers. On regular gas, no less.

What is the "perfect" street/strip package......for the average Moparian

Not yet, working on getting a car first. Honestly, I'm not sure I will ever FIND a 1000cfm TQ. Though Mopar Action has had one on one of their project cars (72 Road Runner, 451ci 400) for over 20 years. It's a demand carb...tune it properly and I don't see any reason it wouldn't be perfectly...

What is the "perfect" street/strip package......for the average Moparian

My perfect street/strip (more "hot street") build... Magnum 360 block. 4" steel crank. About 9-9.5:1 compression, to run <91 octane gas. Good aluminum heads, CNC ported, probably Edelbrock. Maybe Speedmaster. Heads modified externally with the outer surface roughed up to look like iron...

    422 dyno fail

OK, one thing jumps out at me immediately: it's nosing over. Torque peak is 4K, it's down 30ft-lbs at 4500 and 60ft-lbs at the 5000RPM power peak. It loses 100lb-ft in 1400RPM. Clearly, something is choking this engine. My first question is one I haven't seen, though I admit I haven't read all...

Change the rod bearings and cross your fingers!

FWIW, Rick Ehrenberg did an in-vehicle bearing job on the 150,000+ mile shop van. It worked, the van ran another 50,000+ before retirement. (At a guess, rust.)

    422 dyno fail

A truck long block with an extra point of squeeze and a cam made 400hp as a crate motor 25 years ago! (The 380hp advertised rating was for the lawyers.)

J heads, compression, and today's crappy gas

Beats me...though I'm inclined to believe numbers from Indy. J heads are small chamber, right?

J heads, compression, and today's crappy gas

The title pretty much is the question: how much squeeze can I run without needing race gas or Avgas? I'm considering a car on eBay, but the engine is a 10:1 360 with J heads done by Indy cylinder head. They have 2.02 / 1.60 valves and 5 angle valve job, ported, polished gasket matched and bowl...
