I do believe the rules state has to be the factory casting # intake and heads for that year car. Blocks don't matter.

What are the differences on small block timing covers? I need one for a 360. Not sure if any one will work and what part # I should look for. I'll be running the Edelbrock water pump and 67 and up alt bracket.

I'll be doing 800 miles to the nats in my Jeep at 20 mpg. But I still think my bar tab will be more then gas.

This was my question. Run a test. Fuel up run it on the highway for a half of tank. Then refuel and do the math. Real numbers is the way to go.

I have a plug for the intake. And a rubber plug for water pump. But as mentioned before they suck. They dry out quick and leak. Tapping for plug is tricky. Not a lot of meat in the pump.

Looks like it will be a handful. Quite the monster.
