I have a 318 motor in my 1974 Plymouth Duster. It has been rebuilt when we did a restoration on it. I am thinking about switching it out to a 392. Anyone have any idea what a used 318 motor goes for in socal? It has about 100k total miles on it.

Its my daily driver so I doubt its the gas. I just changed the metering rods to make it more rich acccording to the manual but it still does it the exact same way. I cant figure it out

I will try that with the vacuum advnace thanks. Its backfiring through the carb. It’s a constant popping unless I give it more gas or let of the gas completely. I m going to try and re jet it today because of what it says in the manual. Ill keep you guys posted. Thanks again

I moved the accelerated pump hole closest to te carb and it seems to run worse :(. I think it may be lean but I m just confused because it never did this before. And after all the problems with the voltage regulator I can't figure out if its timing or the carb.
