I already have this mildly build motor/tranny/converter combo coming out of my car which ran 11.71, plus I want to truck to still be a hot rod. And I bet I could still start in second and take that saturn down!

Well I just like the look of the dakotas, espcially once lowered and put on a nice set of wheels (CCWs or Vipers). Plus I am hoping to find a late model truck with nice paint and interior to buy and just swap my stuff into it. But yeah those trucks do get some good mpgs for sure!

Well I plan on pulling the 360 out of my car and putting it in a dakota r/t body style with a 2.45 gear or 2.76 with about a 29 inch tire. It should weigh around 3,800 and will be lowered. With EZ efi feeding the OOTB eddys and a small flat cam do you think 20mpg is achieveable at about 2k rpms...

I have a mech fuel pump and am thinking that it is at the brink of where it can keep up now. Do you think it could keep up with a little nitrous or is that just :smilebox:. I guess it must be time to put a fuel cell in it.

It is not available. I am from the south where oil is still king over corn. I drive this car too much to have to run race gas too. That SBM you have looks good man and I would expect a wee bit more hp out of it than of what I have in mind.

That thing seems to run pretty good. Mid tens would be nice and that helps me think these heads will get me where I want to be.

I have to bench race until I get my dang cummins finished. Give me a break.

Also any track data with car weights would be helpful along with the cam specs. Just trying to get an idea how far into the 10s ole red could go with these heads.

I want to see some bad boy eddy headed small blocks. They seem to flow enough to support lower 600s N/A when ported to the max on 408s and other strokers. Let me see your builds as long as the have eddy heads and are LA powered.

I got a set of OOTB eddys with about 4k miles on them that I am willing to let go if you want to lighten up that frontend a good bit. Let me know if you are interested and I can come up with a price.

I was looking through hughes dyno section and they seem to think the eddys can get 600 with a solid roller. hmmmmmmmmmmm.

So can you get the eddelbrocks to flow enought to get low tens with the right cam? I want to do a solid roller if it want interfere with the oiling issues. Does a good hydraulic roller make an equally impressive amount of power.

The converter is about a 3400 stall. It has ran a 12.010 at 112 like it is on the footbrake.
