    Heater Hose Clamp Problem

Interestingly, my friend was able to contact the actual manufacturer of these corbin clamps and the discuss the issue. They apparently have some "in-between" sizes and are sending out a few for him to try. The concern is that the clamps might be oversized or incorrect. I will update when I know...

    Heater Hose Clamp Problem

Yes the clamp is for a 1/2" hose and nipple. Just won't fit tight enough to hold the hose on without being able to grab it and pull it right off. Maybe the hose is a little loose and oversized as well. We talked about him getting a piece of standard 1/2" heater hose to check and see if this...

    Heater Hose Clamp Problem

I think he should compare the repro hose to others and see if indeed the outer wall thickness is less. Other than that, I wonder if slightly smaller (odd) size corbin style clamps exist. I think next size is 5/16" which might be too small.

    Heater Hose Clamp Problem

A friend of mine has a 69 Dart GTS 340 with a 70 intake. He has an issue trying to use a correct style corbin hose clamp on the heater hose to the intake. The correct clamp is a little too big and the hose will not fit tightly. Has anyone had this problem and found a solution other than using...

    Coolant Overflow Bottle Question

Mine is an early 74 (August 1973) Here are two pictures showing coolant bottle. One before I bought car and one after. Note to second picture - Bottle bracket has broken piece of original bottle but now holds different style container like your yellow car. I need to find new cap without...

    Coolant Overflow Bottle Question

Thanks, It looks to me as if the bottle was replaced. The cap matches your first picture with the two fittings but the bottle matches the yellow car. In fact there is a broken piece of the bottle mounting tab that matches your first picture still attached but nothing broken on the bottle. I...

    Coolant Overflow Bottle Question

More importantly than the previous question, does anybody know what the correct coolant bottle for a 74 Dart Sport looks like? Also the cap. Mine has molded in overflow from top and molded in tube from bottom for connection to radiator. Cap is green with two fittings. I suspect either cap or...

    Coolant Overflow Bottle Question

New to site so you can understand if this question is too dumb. I have a 1974 Dart Sport 318. Radiator was previously changed out from 19" to 22". Coolant overflow hoses were removed. I know the molded in tube from the bottom of the bottle connects to the radiator and one of the fittings on...
