i have never messed with timing, i just switched my 318 from a 2bbl to a 4bbl performer though with a 4bbl holley 600cfm carb and was curious if it was worth doing with only these two mods on a stock motor or leave it alone the way it is? also if its worth doing how do u do it?

I wanna upgrade my 73 dart's 318 ignition system to electronic. alot of guys on here say its one of the best upgrades you can do. Im only gonna do this and 4bbl upgrade for right now. Im a little unsure of what all exactly is involved in this swap and how much it would cost?
