advanced timing?

i have never messed with timing, i just switched my 318 from a 2bbl to a 4bbl performer though with a 4bbl holley 600cfm carb and was curious if it was worth doing with only these two mods on a stock motor or leave it alone the way it is? also if its worth doing how do u do it?

recurving. It goes through step by step on how to set up the disty.
