Doesn't welding the bracket back together melt the bushing? Is it the same bushing for the 70-72 A-body as for the 66-69 B bodies? I have seen websites that yes and no. Thanks for any info you might have. Jon H.

Has anybody replaced the triangular rubber bushing on a 7/8" sway bar? Is there an easy way to install the rubber bushing in the bracket? Service manual not much help, says to replace the sway bar if rubber bushings need service.
