    Thanks Tim They changed the design to a counter sunk allen head bolt so the factory bolt will not work. (pic 3 ) They have been informed of the problem and are sending me the old style plates like yours.

    Ya I think that is the problem.I left the cam bolts only snug tight and they are probably shifting.The grinding sound is the upper control arm rubbing the inside of the wheel.It actually knocked off the balancing weight.IM going to try to set the cam bolts the best I can and take it in for a...

    Im going to install new lower ball joints tomorrow then hopefully re-set the torsion bars.I'll know more tomorrow.

    Well it didn't.After lowering back to the ground I bounced the front up & down and it still had aprox 2'' of travel.Didn't collapse until I backed up.

    Ya I did everything correct except I left the torsion adjusters a bit loose since I had more work to do on it.I didnt plan on driving like this just back it up to clean the garage.

    Anybody else use this method.I bought the mancini adjustable strut rods and don't want to remove the lca's to install them if I don;t have to.

    Im getting ready to install new uca's in the next few day's and have never worked on a torsion bar type suspension yet.Do the torsion bars have to come off in order to replace the upper control arms or can I place a jack under the spindle assy and remove and replace them ???
