Small bolt front disc options for a 65 Valiant ?

I used the Wilwood wheel kit with the Right Stuff master kit. Fantastic change from the old drums. The Wilwood rotors shipped with 1/2 inch on 4.5 inch BC installed and the 7/16 inch studs in a bag which you install in the 4 inch BC. No issues with the factory rallye rims with the hub or rim...

    wilwood master cylinder question

Not a Wilwood solution but another option is the Right Stuff 15/16" master cylinder kit. Kit comes with MC, adjustable rod and proportioning valve at a fair price. More of a factory look than Wilwood however. Upgraded last year from drums up front to disc with this kit and the pedal feel is a...

    pdb to mdb

I just upgraded to disc from drums using a 15/16 bore master. The pedal feel is roughly the same as before but much better stopping. Most power brake masters are a larger bore which makes the pedal feel harder. Not sure of your bore but something to consider.

    SSBC Flex Lines

70 Dart upgrading to SSBC w513 wheel kit. Part of the upgrade includes new banjo style flex lines. The problem is the lines themselves do not have the flat spot that is needed to insert into the frame mounted tab where it meets the hard line. I have called and emailed SSBC but still no answer...

Power to manual. 66 brake rod for 71 swinger?

Not sure what you are asking. The single reservoir can't be used on your car so I am wondering if you just want the rod? Removing it could damage the retaining rubber/nylon washer. Why not source an adjustable rod so there is no issue of fit? The current MC used on power brakes is likely sized...

pedal is soft at the bottom

You mention no work was done to the brake line side of things. My guess is your car was four wheel drum and now drum/disc. The master has to change. You also need to add a proportioning valve to the rear line so you get enough line pressure to the front for the discs to work well. After...

    10" Drum Conversion

Just wondering if they fit the factory 14 inch rally rims? Would love disc brakes but want to keep the original rims. Most websites say need 15 inch rims but some 14 may fit.
