The orginal build on my son's 68 Dart was 8.75 rearend that was going to be setup mainly for the street. We chose a 10.5" clutch from South Bend Clutch and also a flywheel from 440Source. Now that the car is going to be backhalfed and hp will eventually be more than the 400...it was suggested...

I have seen a couple of cars that didnt have that side hump for the 4 speed shifter...it had just the boot around it..Is this possible of was it a different type of shifter??? If not where can I get the best price on one.... Thanks Rick

South Bend Clutch is going in the 68 383 that we are building...We figured that if I can't slip this clutch in my Dodge Cummins Diesel making around 1000 lbs of torque...there clutch should hold a 425 hp 383. Rick

That is the way the Dodge Cummins trucks come..master..slave..I actually have a setup for a 6 speed Dodge Cummins setting in my garage..may try and use it on my son's 68 Dart 383 4 speed conversion.. Rick

We are doing a auto to 4 speed conversion...We have the big pieces like the tranny,linkage,bell housing,flywheel,clutch but I know there are a number of pieces that we dont have.. Would anyone have a list of parts that they used when they did the conversion??? Also looking for the size bolts...
