Looks like there are a couple parts missing...:steering:

Either add vacuum advance (I have seen 24 degree cans, and I think there are ADJUSTABLE cans available) and adjust it to come in earlier, or reduce centrifugal advance and add initial timing (1 for 1) to compensate. For a cruiser, considering the significant costs of the GV and the work...

Car is a 73 Duster, mild Magnum 360, 833 trans with V8 gears, I think 26" tires. (225/60R15) Currently has 8.25" with 3.55 gears, and...yeah, that's getting old. Does anyone have actual EXPERIENCE with a 4 speed and 2.76 axle gears in a ~3300lb car? How does it drive?

But is the case on a truck OD still aluminum?

Any dealer, you want PN 4338876 (bushing) or 53009180 (roller bearing). They press into the TC pilot hole. If they do not fit, something is wrong with the crank.

I do know...but you don't care...so I'm not going to bother. But by all means: put a transmission rated for 300 lb-ft behind a 440. Torque capacity doesn't matter, so you should be fine, right? :rolleyes:

Yep. Any 1994-2001 2500 or 3500 Ram with NV4500 and gas power would have the right bellhousing. Not sure, but a V10 might use the same bell.
