Half of you say yeah, why the hell wouldn't you-just grind your head, the other half says It will choke it out and the gaskets won't hold. I would need headers because apparently the only other manifolds that fit are on a dakota...

I would kill me to grind on an engine. I guess those are my options though since I can't afford new headers. I wonder about the dakota manifolds though. Would they fit right? Is it too hard to hook up exhaust with those in a barracuda. I suppose people have done it. I might have to look at junk...

I just found a 360 to put in my little 64 barracuda. Just wondering if anyone has any idea of how to find cheap headers or manifolds that fit. I have 273 manifolds (but don't want to wreak them by reaming them. I don't know if it would work anyway.) Not sure if there is a difference in shape but...

This barracuda is also my first car. I thought the push button is really neat. I have already gutted most of the motor componets but I think I will leave the steering in. I aslo had the problem with the drivers manifold and low and behold if the front bolt hole cracked off when I unbolted it...

I was wondering how I should pull a 273 out of a 64 barracuda. The motor is stuck so I would have to keep the automatic transmission on it. Would it be easier to pull out the bottom or top? I'm not sure if it will even fit. Has anyone done this with a stuck motor and an auto in an early a?

Generally, what is the value of a 64 dart 4dr slant six. Hasn't run in a long time. Is really rusty but doors are fine. All glass is good, hood is shot, deck lid good, 90% of interior is there although seats need recovering. What should I pay?

Try damraider. He told me he has a 63 valiant valance that is in nice shape but the previous post says a 63 valiant won't fit my 64 barracuda. I don't think it will fit yours either so I don't know why you want one. If you find out that it does fit then you need to tell me because I made a mistake.
