I was not happy as well with the Sherman lifters in our B/S car, didnt last very long. Swithced to the Smith Machine lifters. I have a new set of those available as well if interested. They ARE much more than the reworked Shermans, but almsot a neccessity IMO. I also have a set of stock 273...
