I scored the 69 Crysler New York!!! The old fella sold it to me for $175.00! It's got a 440/HD 727 and a 8 3/4. Big heavy old car like that, any chance it has a steel crank? It's a c body, but if you guys need some parts let me know! Woo hoo, I'm stoked

So I just got my 440 torn down and I have 452 heads. I was wondering where the 452 heads rate in the big block factory heads food chain..they worth anything/ a ****?

Thats is without a doubt a keeper...you have the 915 heads, which are the closed chamber heads. It also looks like you may a HP motor. It aint no anchor!

Let me reword that...How well does a 440 from a 78 motorhome with stock exhaust manifolds fit in an A body? Or do I have to run TTI/Shumacher headers?

How do stock exhaust manifolds fit in an A body? Specifically, ones that are already on a 440 from a '78 motor home? Any ideas?

I know it will be to wide for an A body, but if its a good one, I'll take it. I'm planning a mini tub anyway so I planned on having a 8 3/4 worked over anyway. Thanks for mentioning that it will probably have the correct oil pan...I forgot about that!

I stand corrected...I was just looking on BBD and see it might just have a 9 1/4....would this be worth keeping and putting in instead of a 8 3/4?

I'm looking to drop in a 440 in my Scamp..it has power brakes so it has a booster. Anyone know where I could get some kinda offset bracket? Or has anyone made there own that could post some pics? Help please!

Can I use a 727 tranny out of a 2WD truck? Its in a 75(?) 2WD club cab....would just need to shorten the drive shaft right?

I have power brakes and power steering...a 440 swap with the Shumacher kit/headers will work right? Or is this swap for non power brakes/power steering? I'm ready to order the goods and get started, just want to make sure its all good!
