    When is it whining?

I did not say I was not going to do anything. I asked for the opinions of others. My point was to find out if my getting a bit irritated about the whole thing was out of line. I could well hear, 'They may be doing their best and dealing (still) with supply line issues of the past few years...

Does this prove David Vizard's 128 lsa formula ?

...that max air flow into the cyl is going to be close to, or at max lift. A cam with a 110 LSA installed straight up has the exh valve at max lift 110* BTDC & the int valve is at max lift 110 ATDC. Why is that important? On the intake stroke [ more importantly at low & medium rpms ], the...

    When is it whining?

Well....and I say this with much respect and not being a smartass, but if you're not going to do anything, why'd you ask for advice?

Car stalling at idle after topping it off.

Make SURE you use the hose I described. It or any other EFI approved rubber hose are the only rubber hoses formulated to handle ethanol and they don't do it on a permanent basis. They just last longer. There is a hose between the regular carbureted hose and the EFI Barricade hose that SAYS it's...

Slow Crank, No Start When Warm

[1] If you are running a grd cable from the starter [ block ] to the battery, that will be part of the problem. Too much resistance, which causes a power loss. You should use the body/chassis as the grd connection. [2] I had a look at the TuffStuff website & two starters are shown for the SBM, a...

Need Help Tracking Down Pistons For Low Compression 408 Stroker

You could have the pocket on the piston fly cut if necessary to open up clearances and cc’s. Here’s a pic of custom Carrillo pistons I was learning how to cut on the mill for my brother.

    318 Poly Flow Test

I have an old factory 318 Poly dual-quad intake, & a pair of rough WCFB's to go with it, I've wanted to get a mill to go with it & go to town on the heads myself. There have been some nice one's offered here on FABO, but a looong ways away, too far to fetch for Me.

'66 Barraduda front suspension won't adjust down one on side

Sorry I got here late, lol, yeah the frt T-bar socket/arm would have to be frozen together...that's the only thing that can do that. Either by rust or damage/deformation of the arm. Those West-Coast guys don't know what it's like to deal with that stuff, lol!! I pulled the K-frame, arms &...

Don’t know what a v65 is? An intercepter? Burned off stock tires put a set of Michelins on it and ground the steel nubs off the foot pugs. Like I said had a plastic body filler knife in my back pocket to scrape my pants out

    Identifying my 904

Here's some info regarding the terms 904, 998 and 999. In the Chrysler parts catalog under group 21 automatic transmission parts only the 904 is listed. To determine the number of disc used, you must have the PK number. In all the Mopar performance books the 998 and 999 are covered but not in...

    When is it whining?

the frustration is understandable. and while the squeaky wheel usually gets the grease, it may come at a cost of sloppy work or cutting corners here. while i don't think you're to the point of: "let's take this to court"; i do think that you need to escalate it. i would start with a phone...

Car stalling at idle after topping it off.

For sure I will. Does it make any difference if it’s mainly only stalling in gear at idle? Could it be a tuning issue idle screws/speed screws etc? Not sure why that would flare up after getting gas though but just checking. Also may have sounded worse/stalled faster with the lights on etc...

Car stalling at idle after topping it off.

I just did a fuel system service to my Ford truck. Although not a Mopar, it had some OLD sections of rubber supply hose and the one that connected the fuel sender to the main supply line was VERY soft. I was having an issue where the truck would stumble and fall off and almost completely die...
