    Whats the solution

Tired of dealing with hoses that break at the ends, Ive seen cheap hoses ( at Lowes I think ) come with a stiff cover at the ends, does that really work, are they available separate? These are not cheap hoses Im using but maybe if the covers do work I can have them installed next time I go in...

    paint spray booth

Putting up my booth, these channels which are bolted to the sides ( both ) of booth along with these moveable plates and hoses were part of the package. Not sure that I have installed this one side correctly, its been a long time since I have seen this sort of a set-up but if I remember...

    Re-building air ratchets

I said I would up-date and so here goes, the part that I mentioned in previous post was as mentioned ordered, I ordered 4 of them cause as mentioned it was the same part that I felt I needed for my air hammer. Received the parts and installed the O-ring in the air hammer, worked like a charm...

    Sk 82003

I am looking for this Phillips screwdriver, if anyone knows of one for sale let me know. Trying to replace/repair all my lost/broken/stolen tools that have accumulated in my box and this will be the last piece of the set I once had. Thanks

    Re-building air ratchets

I cannot figure out the luck either, I do take care of my tools, it is a PH2050 and it lasted less time than the FAR720 Ratchet. I do hope this inexpensive part fixes the issue within the air hammer. Not sure why I opted for the 2050, I thought at the time it was the biggest they...

    Re-building air ratchets

Did not have to take much apart to get at what I believe is needed and that is called a valve seat part # IM5100-22A 4.65. This piece was broken into various sized pieces within the tool, looks like a plastic O-ring of sorts, 90% sure that this will fix the problem. As luck would have it the...

    Re-building air ratchets

I do not need a re-build kit for this ratchet, it has little use, I need a bad O-ring or some minor part I believe at this point. Cant justify sending it out to be factory reconditioned since its not worn out.

    Re-building air ratchets

Im going to do this, talked with the Snap-On dealer today and now that you reminded me he also said trigger O-ring, I can remember when I could hop aboard the tool truck with my broken tools and hop off the tool truck 30 minutes later with a repaired tool. I was told today that they no longer...

    Re-building air ratchets

If I provide the model # will you give me a better idea of whats needed? Assuming your a tool guy and go thru them often. I have access to a snap-on dealer and the parts are also evidently available on-line. Just do not know what to expect with taking it apart and do not want to screw things...

    Re-building air ratchets

Id like to start with the latest one I bought new several years back, it is the one furthest left, it has seen VERY little use, sat in my box for the most part waiting for the high paying jobs before it saw some use. I gave it air today and it runs constantly, the button/trigger pushes itself...

    Re-building air ratchets

I have some snap-on 3/8 drive that are not working properly, one has very low mileage and so no idea at this point what could have gone wrong, 2 otherhave high mileage, assuming the heads are worn. Looking for a you-tube video but nothing the least bit comprehensive, net search as well and I...

I was told by the guy that has the correct rings ( with the minimum ) that the rings are not ordinary as they are manufactured for the high pressures. Not sure I would trust Lowes after being told this. Hate doing anything twice ( no money in that :) )

    Hein Werner 63752

Unfortunately I am looking for some of this info, I had at least one ring ( its a square or rectangular shape ) come apart in too many pieces to identify any specs. Thanks for the offer though.

Trying to re-build a leaking pump on this porta power, evidently the kit is no longer avail, there was a rubber seal/O-ring that has disintegrated within the pump and so I dont have much to go on in the way of finding a replacement. Most local hydraulic cylinder centers have gone out of...

    Car lift

Jason BTW Bill, how would one adjust this cable? I did release this cable ( both sides ) via the large nuts. I did this to make my disassembly happen. When I go to put it back together Ill need to re-attach these cables and get them adjusted properly.

    Car lift

Thanks guys, what would be possible causes for the lift not going down when the release handle is depressed? Is there something somewhere in the hydraulic system that can be by-passed to make the cylinders piston retract? I would have though that when I was disassembling it once that I removed...

    Car lift

Long day, long drive. Left the house about 4.30 this morning, got their at about 20 till 9, he was just pulling up as I was pulling in. I was surprised at how good the lift looked from outside the fence. Once inside I was still pleasantly surprised. We put his wifes Caravan on it and away it...

    Car lift

I did talk to the guy twice more this evening and I was shocked ( ) to notice that once away from his homeboys he was a pretty decent sounding guy. Im going after it in the morning assuming it lifts as he says it does.
