    E85

If you have E-85 relatively close I guess that's an advantage, though you're somewhat locked into that fuel choice. Because the energy density of that fuel is so much less than a non-blended fuel you're going to be running through much more of it. So if your looking for a cost savings not sure...

    Compression vs boost question

Is this going in a street driven vehicle? Pump Gas? I'm running 10psi on 8.3:1 pistons and runs great on pump gas...I have water/methanol injection on it to lower the intake air temp once the boost gets past about 5psi. There's a million and one considerations to think about..but the bottom...

    440" small block ... ??

Hmm well what do you want to know? Mopar came out with these new 440CI small block stroker combinations. Comes with a New 340 Siamese Block with 4-Bolt Mains. Bore: 4.180" Stroke: 4.00" I know of one guy thats building up one for a Procharged application... but haven't read about anyone else...

Any centrifugally-blown A engines on this forum?

I had Diamond (http://www.diamondracing.net/) Custom make the Pistons for me as a Low Compression Stroker piston is definitely not your normal off the shelf part. 8.3:1 is about as low as I could go because of the space constraints on wrist Pin height with the extra stroke. If the car was...

Any centrifugally-blown A engines on this forum?

I have a P1SC on my 410" stroker. Originally it was a 360 with about 9.2:1 hypereutectic pistons..non intercooled, no water injection, and running around 10lbs of boost I blew a head gasket within two months. I rebuilt the engine with Quench Dome 8.3:1 CR forged stroker pistons Mopar Forged...

eagle stroker crank-does the block need to be machined?

I used a Mopar Forged crank and Eagle H-Beam Rods. I had to clearance about a 1/4" at the bottom of the cylinder. See Pics Below...

    SuperCharged small blocks anyone?

I have a ProCharged 410, but they are different enough animals I probably wouldn't be much help. This guy probably knows something about screw type superchargers on small blocks though....

Peak HP from LA block w/ no problems

Yeah is has a baby cam...so the HP and TQ come in fairly low.

    water/methanol injection

I use it on my Procharged Dart in place of trying to install an intercooler. I've never put an IAT on it to actually check temperatures. I bought a kit from the thesuperchargerstore.com bascially just a pump, one way valve, nozzle, and window switch to turn it on. I've had good luck with it...

Peak HP from LA block w/ no problems

I used a 360 block bored .040 with a forged 4" stroker kit. No girdles, Stock Main Caps, Stock Main Bolts Graph below are the chassis dyno numbers add at least 15% for Flywheel HP/TQ This car has been made about 20 1/4 mile runs and 15 dyno pulls along with several thousand miles of driving...

    408 stroker vs procharger 360

I went through the superchargerstore when I ordered everything, comes with everything you'll need to bolt it into place. Pulley's, Brackets, bolts, waterpump, hoses,belt/tensioner, clamps, carb hat, blowoff valve etc... Install was no problem at all, tech support it great if you do need it...

    408 stroker vs procharger 360

Yeah it's all blow through. If you run this setup carbureted you'll have to get a modified carb that has throttle shaft seals and composite floats. Brass floats will collapse under boost pressure. I got mine from a place in Colorado they take a Holley 4150 do the above along with taking off...

    408 stroker vs procharger 360

If you want to drive it on the street don't go too crazy on the stall. I don't think 10's are out of the questions at all. If your going with a 360, get a forged crank, neutral balance everything, 8:1 Quench dome pistons, good ported heads, commetic head gaskets, head studs, H-beam rods...

    408 stroker vs procharger 360

Well if you are going buy forged internals anyways why not do the stroker and Procharger together? Thats what I ended up doing. I went with about 8.3:1 compression which is nearly as low as you can go with a Quench Dome stroker piston. Eagle H-Beam Rods, Mopar Forged crank, Diamond made the...

What Head to use on 360 Stroker

I'm running Edelbrock RPM heads on my 410". I can't complain about the performance though I don't have an even comparision to know what the gains have been. I ran them stock for about a year then had Hughes Stage II port them.

    procharger

I'm running Edelbrock Performer RPM heads Stage II ported By Hughes Engines. Because of the heat dissipation of aluminum over steel it alows you to run slightly higher boost levels under the same conditions. Yeah Procharger recomends LSA in the 112-114 range I think. I didn't change cams during...

    procharger

I procharger the Dart in my Signature Pic. Overall gains at 10psi boost were about 200hp/200tq at the rear wheels. The engine is a 8.3:1, baby cam, stroker 410CI. The Torque is great, from 2800 to 5500 it makes over 500ft/lbs to the wheels. Final cost I couldn't really say without diggin up...
