I never realized until I bought my 68 Valiant They seem to be somewhat rare. And not many parts are made for them unless they fit other A Bodies.

Why wouldn't it ? People just screw or rivet floor panels in all the time. Wouldnt the glue give a little extra. But you can buy cheap migs now days no reason not to weld.

My 68 Valiant is Y2 also. Not a huge fan don't if Im gonna keep it this colour. But has grown on me a bit.

All his friends would agree lol But my point is painting one car with some precautions I'm sure this guy will survive.

Everyone's is different I know a guy painted 30 years without a mask and he's relatively fine for an 80 year old man.

If you want to see how to do metal work there's another thread on here where a guy brings an almost unrestorable gold 65 cuda on here. I'll take a look If I can find it. Take your time and make sure everything square you should be able to pull it off.

When I was gonna autocross my 65 Cuda I was trying to thing of ways but couldnt come with one without majorly redesigning the side of the car. Most A Body's are to square besides 2 gen Cuda to work but I'm sure it could be made to work with a lot of work.

Depends how nice of a job you want to do, I imagine it could be done with ok results just the more you remove from under the hood the better the results and depends on what colour your changing from and too because places you can reach is just gonna get over spray.
