    ok well the 69 barracuda manual transmission mount is about 1/2 shorter. I can get all 4 bolts back in the transmission cross member and have about 1/8 of clearance between tail shaft and tunnel bump stop.

    i have completed something similar on a 65 barracuda. i have a 15x10 rim for the back. my back spacing is wrong but free is free. what is the rear end measurement flange to flange. i cut mine to be 51 1/8, what is rim and tire info. thanks for your time.

    these pictures are from the 66 dart, the 69 barracuda is the same. the transmission mount is way shorter, so before I order one, I will have to take it out of the 69 barracuda (its just easier to get to) put it in the 65 and see if the cross member goes in with no problems

    this picture is why the transmission hits bump stop. the original 1965 transmission mount is tall. the transmission hits the bump stop and there fore you cannot put the bolts in the transmission cross member.

    the 65 barracuda now has a 727 and has 8.75 in it. I put the yoke in transmission all the way back it out around an inch, there is weight is on suspension and I took measurement from center to center and got a measurement of 46 inches, does this sound like the right process to get length of...

    I was told the gaskets will not hold up when using 273 manifolds on a 340/360 head but if there was never a problem then i will put 273 manifolds on my 360 build in my 65 barracuda

    judging by the picture the new front pocket is centered on the old frame rail and is butted up against the floor pan and is welded in, I do have to ask where did you get the subframe connectors?

    hello, there was a talk of that you are still using a 4 speed tranny correct. do you know of anybody with a 727 in early A's. I have 65 factory 273 car, I believe there mount will solve that problem I have but not the other problem.

    64 barracuda 360,what oil pan?

    this is kinda my problem with my 65 barracuda, 273 car floor shift 904. (2 cable). changing over to a 360 727 and I need info on this swap. tranny is in and with a this isolator from the 69 just to mock stuff up. the tranny hits the tunnel and there is no way to get an oil pan on it.

    now this guy shows 273 mounts under a magnum. Blackhatguy, his oil pan fits fine and it looks like there are no mods to his K frame.

    transmission hits mostly the bell housing, can raise engine high enough to get correct mounts in. I have the steel parts from the factory 273 in it now with 69 isolater in place, however there is no way an oil pan will fit the engine sits to low.

    looking closer to the picture they look just like 69 barracuda style rubber isolaters. my zip is 59405

    still have them, there is just only one problem. the 727 trans hits the tunnel and its either coming out or I mod the tunnel some to get the mounts to fit, I can raise motor enough to get it 69 isolaters in but still not enough room for oil pan.

    how much for 340/360 mounts and what transmission are you using. there is more to just flatten the welded seam to get a 727 to fit in this 65 barracuda
