does anybody have any pictures of the installed spring relocation kit in early abody, i think i got the just of it just wondering how the new front spring pocket ties into the remaining frame rail after i cut out what i dont need anymore. 1st one at this

Probably not real helpful but one I have on my phone of my 66

judging by the picture the new front pocket is centered on the old frame rail and is butted up against the floor pan and is welded in, I do have to ask where did you get the subframe connectors?

I have the full Stage 3 stiffening from USCT Motorsports (subframe, torque boxes F&R, lower radiator support, shock tower braces, mini tubs)

i see you lined up your pocket with the outside of the frame rail i do like that better.

US Cartool kit is great because it uses the original bolt holes to properly locate the spring mount. However I had trouble getting the rear mount to fit over the frame rail,
so I cut them in half and them welded them on.

Reduce the side to side motion you get with shackles. If I stick with leaf springs I’ll be using them as well.

Shackles with any spring will allow some movement, sliders minimize movement. I’m building my car to be particularly stiff as I’m throwing a bunch of horsepower in it.
