Picture cause I never seen one?

My '69 has a sensor tube in evaporator core that goes open circuit cuts off power to compressor if evaporator core gets too cold.

Was able to get both side panels done. Around two hours now I be tired.

Took around 1 hour or so with heat gun

Any tips on removing the carpet that is glued onto these interior panels? I glued it on back in the '80s with some type of spray glue and its crazy difficult to pull off. Any tips to get it off?

On my '69 the square chrome knobs on the sliders have an allen screw on bottom. Don't know if '73 is the same but try looking on the underside for an allen screw.

Original owner of mine he special ordered the car and went down the option list and selected everything except PS and PB. I asked him why not 4 speed and he said insurance would have been double the cost so he went with automatic.

When I bought mine from the original owner back in 1979 this is the tach that was in it and still in it. Fender tag has tach on it so confident this is original to this car. Dash bezel is not original to the car since I had to undue the cut for KMart radio mistake made decades ago:
