Found my dads original 1971 duster!

Most likely carb was tuned to dial the air fuel ratio in. Those carbs tend to be lean out of the box and need bigger jets to richen them up a bit especially for a 340 with aftermarket cam. Given the posted dyno numbers I bet shop dialed in the carb. That is normal procedure when dyno tuning...

Beautiful car. I dated a girl in the 80s that had a '73 gold duster same color but hers was a 318. I am sure you get that car out you will hear a bunch of stories about so and so had one similar decades back etc etc etc. You don't see real nice '73s like that very often.

    Duster restoration

That car is cool. AMD only has the rear rails so for the front you will be forced to find good used ones. The rockers and rear rails you can get new from AMD.

I would take the spare tire out and see if the bottom of the spare tire well is rusted. That sheet metal down there supports the gas tank straps so need to make sure sufficient integrity is there.

Preparing to sell my original owner 72 Demon

Maybe start at 45k and take offers. Or if you wanna move it quicker start at 35k. Pretty hard to find a Demon that has never had any rust, has a street car look, but can run 10s. Nice A Body Mopars are not cheap these days like they used to be. I would try and hold onto it cause when its...

Amazing the floors and trunk are still solid. Factory 340 4 spd '70 Dart and red yeah that is a super awesome car. You can bet that car showed its tail lights to plenty of big block cars back in the day.
