Slicks with stock spring location? (I know I'm crazy)

my brother is running a 26x8-15 (hoosier quick time pro 26x9.5-15) on a 8" wheel on his 69 dart...no problem so far with rubbing etc. I just sold my racing tires to a guy with a 72 dart, same tire as above on a 7" wheel with 3,75" BSP.....it fits very good and has very good traction at the...

    ET vs Backspacing!

Hi Staffan, backspacing is pretty easy, the measurement from the inner lip of the wheel to the mounting flange. If you compare a wheel with 4" Bsp and 2" Bsp, the track width is increased with 2" Bsp. ET (Einpresstiefe in german) is always measured from the center of the wheel, positive...

    Semi Slicks on 4,5" backspacing?

do you mean really "semi slicks" for round course or drag radials? My friend is one of the biggest dealers of these "semi slicks" (Toyo R888 for example), these are not the best tire for drag racing. If you mean drag radials then it´s ok.... From what i measured at my rear axle 4,5" Bsp...

    Semi Slicks on 4,5" backspacing?

Hi Peter, you should measure the possible bsp with your existing rim. Only way To make sure its ok. The 255/60 tire ist fine on a 8 inch rim. Michael

    24 inch fronts to small?

at the moment i have 175/70-14 tires on the front wheels of my Valiant, these are around 24".....and they do look definitely too small. I´d go at least 25" or 26" in the front (will change to 175/80-15 next off-season, these are 26"). Michael
